NTTA BOARD ELECTS OFFICERS, WELCOMES NEW BOARD MEMBER

PLANO, TEXAS – Sept. 11, 2024 – At its regularly scheduled meeting Wednesday, the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) Board of Directors elected Scott Levine and Mojy Haddad to the positions of chairman and vice chairman, respectively. NTTA elects its officers each year at its September board meeting.

“I am excited to lead the board as NTTA continues its mission to provide mobility to a growing North Texas,” said newly elected chairman Scott Levine. “I am mindful of our shared responsibility to create economic development opportunities along with the cities that host our roads.”

The full list of Board officers elected at Wednesday’s meeting includes: 
•    Chairman – Scott Levine, Collin County appointee 
•    Vice Chairman – Mojy Haddad, Tarrant County appointee 
•    Board Secretary – Lorelei Griffith
•    Asst. Board Secretary – Karen Madison-Ponds
•    Board Treasurer – Horatio Porter
•    Asst. Treasurer – Kelley McGuire

Earlier in the meeting, Fort Worth attorney Andy Wambsganss was sworn in as a Tarrant County appointee to the board. Wambsganss is a senior partner with a leading Texas-based law firm and former mayor of Southlake, TX.

Former chairman Marcus Knight remains on the NTTA Board as a Dallas County appointee.

The North Texas Tollway Authority, a political subdivision of the state of Texas, is authorized to acquire, construct, maintain, repair and operate turnpike projects across the North Texas region. The board of directors is comprised of Chairman Scott Levine; Vice Chairman Mojy Haddad; and Directors Derek V. Baker, Lynn Gravley, Pete Kamp, Marcus Knight, John Mahalik, George “Tex” Quesada and Andy Wambsganss.

NTTA is composed of member counties Dallas, Denton, Collin and Tarrant. It also serves Ellis and Johnson counties. NTTA owns and operates the Dallas North Tollway, President George Bush Turnpike, Sam Rayburn Tollway, Addison Airport Toll Tunnel, Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge, Mountain Creek Lake Bridge, Chisholm Trail Parkway, and 360 Tollway. NTTA toll projects are not a part of the state highway system and receive no legislative appropriations. Tolls are collected to repay debt and to operate and maintain the roadways.
