NTTA AWARDS WINNING ARTISTS
Star Students Summon Creative Skills to Promote Safe Driving
PLANO, TX – April 3, 2025 – Hundreds of students across DFW entered the North Texas Tollway Authority (NTTA) art and video contest and now, NTTA safety staffers have chosen the winners. Winning entries will be used throughout 2025 in campaigns that discourage distracted driving.
Student entrants used creative skills to design campaigns that promote the use of the Red Thumb program to prevent driving while distracted, while helping to raise awareness about the dangers of texting behind the wheel. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration cautions that the consequences of driving distracted are severe – no text is worth a life.
Winning student artwork will be featured in digital platforms that reach audiences across DFW – including NTTA’s newsletter, Customer Service Centers, social media, and more. See all contest winners and finalists here. Many submissions will be displayed at NTTA’s upcoming Pave The Way Day on April 26 in Plano.
