Ms. Stroh has more than fifteen years of legal experience. She served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Murchison Oil and Gas, Inc. for three years and was responsible for all legal issues affecting the company including contracts, regulatory, land, structuring, corporate governance, human resources, compliance, insurance, and other matters. Prior to joining Murchison Oil and Gas, Inc., Ms. Stroh was a partner at Gruber Hurst Johansen Hail Shank, LLP, where she handled a wide range of commercial litigation matters and appeals. Ms. Stroh also worked at Carrington, Coleman, Sloman, & Blumenthal, LLP, where she became a partner and handled complex civil litigation in both state and federal court.
Ms. Stroh graduated from Southern Methodist University, Dedman School of Law, cum laude, in 1999. A National Merit Scholar, she received a B.A. in Psychology from Yale University in 1996. She graduated as Valedictorian of D.I.S.D.'s Talented and Gifted Magnet High School in 1992. Ms. Stroh has held multiple office and chair positions with various bar associations including Co-Chair of the Women's Advocacy Awards Committee of Legal Aid of Northwest Texas, Chair of Attorneys Serving the Community from 2012 to 2014, and President of the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers in 2009 and Chair of its Foundation Fellows in 2012. She also serves as a director on the boards of Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity, Dallas Children’s Theater, and Dallas Women Lawyers Association. A member of the Leadership Dallas Class of 2011, Ms. Stroh was selected as one of the "40 Under 40" by the Dallas Business Journal in 2013 and received the 2014 D CEO Magazine & ACC Corporate Counsel Award for Outstanding Community Service.
