In addition, if you have a TollTagTM, TollMateTM, or other account with us, you will be required to create a username and password/pin. It is your responsibility to secure and maintain the confidentiality of your username and password/pin, and you will be responsible for any or all account activity using your username and password/pin.

User-Posted Content. Some of the Sites or Social Media Pages may offer a user forum or other public-facing functionality that permits the posting of content by users. You should assume that any content you post will be public and will be publicly associated with your name or account username. We will likewise treat any such posts (and the associated information) as public.

Log Data. We may gather data associated with your usage of the Sites or Social Media Pages for analysis, measurement, or security purposes, and we may use service providers to assist us in doing so. This may include collection and use of your IP address or other browser or device identifiers.

Cookies and Similar Technology. A “cookie” is a small data file that is transferred to your browser or mobile device. Our Sites and Social Media Pages may use cookies and similar technology in order to study, enhance, and improve their use and capabilities. The technology may collect or use information concerning your IP address or other browser or device identifiers, and we may link your usage data or other Account Information to these identifiers. We also use cookies or similar technology to enable certain features of our Sites and Social Media Pages and to preserve your preferences and customize your experience when you visit and return to them. Most browsers allow you to block receipt of cookies, delete cookies, or be prompted before cookies are received. Please note that if you delete or choose not to receive cookies from any of our Sites or Social Media Pages, the associated functionality may be impaired.

Third Party Data Collection/Online Tracking. When you visit the Sites or open our emails, our third-party partners may collect certain information by automated means, such as cookies, web beacons, and web server logs; such information may be used as described in their privacy policies. Our partners use this information to help us understand and improve the functionality and usage of Sites and our email communications to you.

Some Internet browsers offer a “do not track” or “DNT” option that uses a DNT header to indicate the DNT preference setting on the browser. NTTA does not currently respond to browsers’ DNT signals with respect to the Sites.

Job Application Information. We may collect names, addresses, phone numbers, job history, references, and other information you submit if you use the Sites to apply for employment with NTTA. Such information is used for purposes of evaluating your application (which may include contact with third parties and an employment background check) and to contact you in connection with that application.

Social Media

Actions you take using social media may be reflected in a manner visible to others. We may receive personal information from a social media site platform or application when you connect through a social media feed, post content, or otherwise interact with us using social media tools. All non-public information received from social media sites and applications is treated and used in the same manner and for the same purposes as described in this Policy with respect to similar information we obtain through the Sites. In addition, please note that, to the extent permissible under the applicable policies of the social media site, we may re-publish posts from our Sites or Social Media Pages.
